Susie's Hope is an incredible movie about some amazing folks who could be our next door neighbors. Donna Lawrence endured a horror none of us could even imagine; a Pitt Bull attack. Yet, Donna was able to have the grace and understanding to realize that the dog was not to blame, but the people who were supposed to care for him, and instead betrayed and neglected him.

The unity has brought love and trust to their hearts, moved Donna to establish the Susie’s Hope nonprofit, has lent assistance in the passing of “Susie’s Law,” and Susie and Donna continue work to share their story (at schools, community outings, retirement homes, charity events, etc.) to teach others about what their experience has taught them.
Whereas the adopting person (as verified via signature in Section VI) agrees that he/she shall become the responsible owner of the pet, and release and hold harmless Susie’s Hope, its representatives and employees from any and all claims, risk, financial responsibilities related to or surrounding the animal’s behavior, actions, training and care.
